Yankees on the Loose

Description
Foreign relations between Cuba and the United States reached an all-time low during the Cuban Revolution in 1959, as American military forces were dispatched to quell the possibility of a Communist state in a country so close in distance to American shores. This poster makes a parody of the "May Day" distress call used by American soldiers. "Yankees" on the loose on Cuban soil would have been a situation that sparked significant disapproval from political leaders and citizens alike.
