Description
Once again, we see the public service messages coming out of Soviet Russia in the early days of the USSR. This woman spends long hours indoors to earn her living wages, and the self-abuse she endures, according to the poster's text, increases the likelihood for illness and, in particular, susceptability to tuberculosis. A socialist state would have needed to be conscious of its members health to reduce the burden on the economy and the production of its society.
