Description
China did not look favorably on foreign influence from the United States and its allies after World War II. This poster channels that sentiment by showing a strong Chinese warrior guarding China's borders from the lizard-tongued General MacArthur and his contemporaries. MacArthur's role in leading diplomacy and re-structuring in the Far East after the war made him a scapegoat for the frustrations of a society far different from the one championed by the U.S.
