Description
This poster is similar to Defending the King in calling on British citizens to join the war effort. The Triple Alliance of Germany, Italy, and Austria was beginning to press on England's borders, and the political views of these countries were counter-productive to diplomatic relations with Great Britain. The royal family now saw a declaration of war as the only possible alternative to the aggressive mobilization of military forces close to home.
