Description
A youth group organized within the Communist Party called the Komsomol consisted of children ranging from 14 to 28 years of age. These young recruits were part of a program started by Vladimir Lenin to train future Soviet leaders for the socialist cause in Russian society. One of the results of this group's development was a tank completely designed from scratch by Komsomol members. The accomplishment is featured in this political poster as a source of great pride for party leaders.
