Description
Working Russians were happy Russians. That's the basic premise behind this political poster from the critical decade of the 1930's in Russia. The dream of a better society lured commoners to sign up for worker's agreements that guaranteed Russians a steady income and a sense of security in a failing, war-torn economy. These people would eagerly join the ranks of workers in new factories supporting the cultural growth of the Soviet Union.
