Description
The labor force in Russia during the 1930's was still reeling from years of war and bloodshed. Party leaders needed to inspire a strong band of workers to accomplish the goals they laid out as vital to the political party's success. This propaganda piece shows workers trying to hammer out the influence of lazy commoners who were slow to respond to the call for action. Those who drank, complained, or slept through their days made the socialist objectives Communists wanted that much harder to acheive, and they were determined to "call out" these "slackers" to bring them into the cultural fold.
