Description
This poster shows a band of strong-willed Russian nationals squaring off against German imperialists and Orthodox Church officials. The socialist state forming in Russian territories denounced religion as a tool of the rich to manipulate society toward its conservative goals. The beast of Nazi's Fascist regime is seen here as being in league with the Church in destroying all that Russia had worked for during its Revolutions. The lines of division in Russian eyes are definitive and are a rallying point for protecting its mother country.
