Description
The socialist model for society had one distinct advantage in 1930's Russia. This propaganda poster from the period shows the superior conditions in the USSR for working class citizens, who enjoyed little personal freedoms, but were well-fed and employed better than people in other countries. Unemployment and hunger were not cultural problems in the Soviet Union, and the Red Army political machine wanted to make sure their country's citizens knew about it.
