Description
One has to admire the simplicity of Russian propaganda posters in the 1940's, as this example clearly demonstrates. The Soviet Union had become a powerful country with tremendous resources with which to build its image as a superpower in world politics. Here the Russian claim of a "true democracy" is debatable, but the determination of the government as a self-sufficient nation of idealists is noteworthy.
