Description
Jose Martí was an influential figure in Cuban history, and his revolutionary writings were directly responsible for Cuba's War of Independence with Spain in 1895. He died on the battlefield fighting for his country's freedom. The Spanish text included here, a quote from Martí himself, explains his philosophy well: "Do is the best way to say."
